HET LIED VAN DE TOVERLAMP
With pianist Koenraad Spijker en violinist Emma Roijackers, we developed the children’s show ‘Het lied van de toverlamp’. While Koen and Emma tell the story of Aladdin, and play music by Rimski-Korsakov, I use the overhead projector accopmany the story with visuals. We perform ‘Het lied van de toverlamp’ both in primary schools and in concert halls.

EEN OOG IN ZEE
Een oog in zee is an opera that premiered in November 2022. After many talks and meetings with composer Willem Boogman I finished writing the libretto for the opera, with the support of Fonds Podiumkunsten. Een oog in zee is a modern adaptation of the greek myth of Ariadne, performed by mezzosoprano, accordeon, horn and a dancer. After doing a performance with the crew of Een oog in zee at my exhibition at artcentre Factor IJ, I was given the pleasure of also doing the scenografie for this piece!

ALS JE EEN LANDSCHAP WAS
In Als je een een landschap was we bring the beautiful poems of the Dutch poet M. Vasalis to live in a musical performance. Singer and composer Vita Pagie wrote a set of great songs that have a jazzy sound, in which she is accompanied by piano and cello. I complete this performance with live art, made with an oldfashioned overhead projector!
